Valve spring compressor for VTEC Honda and Acura heads
This tool is used to compress and remove the valve spring assembly in VTEC cylinder heads used in Honda and Acura B and H series engines. It fits applications including B16A, B18C VTEC and H22A DOHC engines.
The tool's design allows for operation with the head mounted on the block. Removal of the rocker shafts is not required. The puller body is attached to the head with two short bolts, and then a long bolt and a thrust socket are used to release the spring tension and remove the retainer.
