Timing tool kit for Opel, Vauxhall and Chevrolet
This kit is used to lock the camshafts and crankshaft during removal and replacement of the timing chain on selected 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 litre Twin Cam engines. Applications include, but are not limited to, Opel, Vauxhall and Chevrolet models listed in the specification.
Before removing the chain, set the first cylinder to TDC, fully retract the chain tensioner, and secure it with a suitable pin. Removal also requires removing the oil pan and using a suitable tool to hold the crankshaft pulley.
